Jackery Explorer 300: what it runs and what to buy instead
The original Explorer 300 is a small battery for phones, lights and a laptop. Its 300 W AC output is the limit to watch: a larger appliance can ask for more power than this box can deliver, even with a full battery.

Should you buy the Explorer 300?
Consider it for small plug-in devices when carry weight matters. You get 2 AC outlets sharing the 300 W limit, plus USB charging. Check the total draw of everything you plan to plug in, not just the largest charger.
Look elsewhere for a fridge compressor, an electric kettle or overnight loads that need more energy. Its 500 W startup rating and 293.8 Wh battery are separate limits. The appliance calculator checks both against your load list.
At $0.98 per watt-hour, compare the compact alternatives below before paying extra for the Jackery name. For longer trips, the mid-size picks give you more energy to work with.

How long could it run your devices?
These estimates start with a full battery and run one device at a time through AC. The calculation is 293.8 Wh × 0.85 ÷ watts. No reserve is left; temperature, idle draw and battery age can shorten runtime.

At the 45 W CPAP example, the estimate is 5.5 hours, shorter than the 8-hour night used in our calculator. Use the CPAP sizing guide with your machine's draw and humidifier settings before relying on it overnight.
Explorer 300 and 300D are different buys
The Explorer 300 has AC outlets. The Explorer 300D has USB and DC outputs, with no socket for a wall plug. Check the full name on the box; the D is not a cosmetic difference. This table compares those two models, not every generation carrying the 300 name.
Compare the cycle count together with the remaining-capacity percentage. The battery chemistry guide explains why a cycle rating is not a promise of years in service.
Compact alternatives with AC outlets
These alternatives stay in the same battery-size band and have an AC inverter. Compare output as well as price per watt-hour if you want to run more than chargers.

Do not assume it will. With the 45 W no-humidifier example, the full-battery AC estimate is 5.5 hours before any reserve. Your machine, settings and connection change the result. The CPAP page helps size a longer night.
Does the Explorer 300D have a wall outlet?
No. The 300D is a different model with USB and DC outputs. Choose the original Explorer 300 or another AC model if your equipment uses a wall plug.
Can I run several devices together?
Their combined running draw must stay below 300 W on AC, and startup demand also matters. Each extra device draws from the same battery, so the single-device runtime estimates above cannot be added together.
