Pecron E500LFP
A compact unit, 576 Wh, 600 W, 14 lb, $269 $329 at Pecron, sold out when checked Oct 11, 2026 ($0.47 per Wh). By our sizing it holds a laptop and two phones, but not a day of home backup, a night of CPAP, two nights of camping, a day in an RV or a working day in a van.

Should you buy it?
Check first Pecron's store showed the E500LFP sold out on Oct 11, 2026; check it is back before you plan around it.
Buy it for: a laptop and two phones (a laptop for six hours and two phone charges).
Not for: a day of home backup (too little capacity: needs 2,323 Wh and 1,351 W at startup); a night of CPAP (too little capacity: needs 599 Wh and 104 W at startup); two nights of camping (too little capacity: needs 2,066 Wh and 157 W at startup); a day in an RV (too little capacity: needs 648 Wh and 156 W at startup); a working day in a van (too little capacity: needs 1,674 Wh and 189 W at startup).
Choose it for the most battery for the money: $0.47 per Wh ($269), the lowest of the 23 compact units with an AC outlet.
Choose the EcoFlow RIVER mini Wireless instead if you will carry it: $130 more, 7.7 lb lighter; you give up 366 Wh of battery.
Not published The maker publishes no surge figure, so motor and compressor starts rest on its continuous rating.
About 490 Wh reaches the AC outlets after the 0.85 loss allowance (an estimate, not a measurement). At $0.47 per watt-hour, compare its cost with the charging speed and carry weight you need. It stores 41.1 Wh per pound. We list 28 other models in its size class; the four nearest in capacity are compared below.
What it runs, and for how long
Hours = capacity × 0.85 ÷ device watts, with the draws from the device table.
| Device | Draw W | Hours | Output and surge cover it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPAP machine (no heated humidifier) | 45 | 10.9 | yes |
| CPAP machine (with heated humidifier) | 53 | 9.2 | yes |
| Refrigerator (full-size, ENERGY STAR, ~18 cu ft top freezer) (average draw, compressor cycling) | 41 | 11.9 | no |
| Laptop (MacBook Air, charging) (charger rating, continuous) | 40 | 12.2 | yes |
| Wi-Fi router | 24 | 20.4 | yes |
| Starlink Mini (router built in) | 33 | 15.1 | yes |
| TV, 50-inch LED / Crystal UHD | 89 | 5.5 | yes |
| Camp LED light set (4 chainable lights) | 6 | 77.7 | yes |
"Yes" means its continuous output covers the draw and its surge rating covers the startup figure we use, by arithmetic on ratings, not a test. Startup figures: the CPAP with its humidifier, 104 W at startup, from ResMed's peak figure; the refrigerator, 1,300 W startup allowance, from a larger 27 cu ft Whirlpool's tech sheet. Your own appliance's label or manual has its own.
