Should you buy it?

Check first BLUETTI's store showed the AC180P sold out on Oct 11, 2026; check it is back before you plan around it.

Buy it for: a night of CPAP (a CPAP with its humidifier for one 8-hour night); a day in an RV (a day of RV lights, TV, phones and a laptop); a laptop and two phones (a laptop for six hours and two phone charges).

Not for: a day of home backup (too little capacity: needs 2,323 Wh and 1,351 W at startup); two nights of camping (too little capacity: needs 2,066 Wh and 157 W at startup); a working day in a van (too little capacity: needs 1,674 Wh and 189 W at startup).

Choose it for 432 Wh more battery and 1,800 W of output against 1,200 W: $263 more than the Dabbsson 1000L.

Choose the Dabbsson 1000L instead if you want the most battery for the money: $0.38 per Wh against $0.45, $263 less, 11.3 lb lighter; you give up 432 Wh of battery.

About 1,224 Wh reaches the AC outlets after the 0.85 loss allowance (an estimate, not a measurement). At $0.45 per watt-hour, compare its cost with the charging speed and carry weight you need. It stores 40.8 Wh per pound. We list 32 other models in its size class; the four nearest in capacity are compared below.

"Yes" means its continuous output covers the draw and its surge rating covers the startup figure we use, by arithmetic on ratings, not a test. Startup figures: the CPAP with its humidifier, 104 W at startup, from ResMed's peak figure; the refrigerator, 1,300 W startup allowance, from a larger 27 cu ft Whirlpool's tech sheet. Your own appliance's label or manual has its own.

Before using the battery's cycle rating to judge value, read what LiFePO4 versus NMC means for lifespan and weight.

What the output figures mean for your devices: running and surge watts, and what a 20 ms switchover means if you use it as a UPS.
