BLUETTI AC200L vs BLUETTI Apex 300
BLUETTI's 2 kWh AC200L against its Apex 300 home battery: the step buyers weigh when a portable station is meant to back up the house. The AC200L is the cheaper energy, 24% less per watt-hour at the makers' prices, and is 21.4 lb lighter. The Apex 300 holds 717 Wh more, gives 1,440 W more continuous output and takes 2,400 W of solar against 1,200 W: buy it for that, and the AC200L for the money.

Cycle counts are highlighted only when both makers rate them to the same remaining capacity. A full recharge is not ranked against a charge to 80%. Missing figures never count as an advantage. These are manufacturer ratings; matching endpoints do not prove identical test conditions.
Rated cycles: AC200L, 3,000 to 80%; Apex 300, 6,000 to 80%.

Estimated AC energy = rated Wh × 0.85. Runtime = estimated AC energy ÷ load W, with no reserve. Capacity and weight differences use the displayed figures; price per Wh uses each model's own price and the day it was checked. The device draws are in the watt-hour calculator.
- Capacity: Apex 300 minus AC200L = 716.8 Wh (35% of the AC200L figure).
- Carry weight: Apex 300 minus AC200L = 21.38 lb (34.3% of the AC200L figure).
- Price per Wh: Apex 300 minus AC200L = 0.14 USD/Wh (31.8% of the AC200L figure).

Runtime by device
Hours = capacity × 0.85 ÷ device watts, with the draws from the device table; "Start" says whether the output and surge ratings cover the startup figure we use for each device (the refrigerator, 1,300 W startup allowance, from a larger 27 cu ft Whirlpool's tech sheet), so a "yes" there means likely, not certain, to start yours.

Buy the AC200L if…
- you want the most stored energy per dollar ($0.44 against $0.58 per Wh)
- the $700 difference matters more than the specs
- you carry it more than you run it (62.4 lb against 83.8 lb)
Buy the Apex 300 if…
- you need more continuous output (3,840 W against 2,400 W); check startup separately
- you need a higher solar input ceiling (2,400 W against 1,200 W); actual recharge depends on the panels
- you want the higher stated cycle count at the same 80% remaining capacity (6,000 against 3,000); test conditions can still differ
- you want the extra capacity (2,765 Wh against 2,048 Wh)

Questions buyers ask
Which is better for power outages, the AC200L or the Apex 300?
BLUETTI AC200L states a 20 ms switchover, so it can sit between the wall and a fridge or router and take over when the power cuts, once the device is in an outlet the manual gives the backup to and any AC timeout is off (for a CPAP or a computer, check that device rides through the switch); BLUETTI Apex 300 states 20 ms. BLUETTI Apex 300 holds more (2,765 against 2,048). Check your appliance's startup watts against the surge figures in the table.
Which is cheaper per watt-hour?
AC200L at $0.44 per Wh against $0.58. This compares purchase price with rated capacity, not lifetime delivered energy.
Can either run a window air conditioner?
Only if the air conditioner's running watts stay under the AC output (2,400 W on the AC200L, 3,840 W on the Apex 300) and its start fits the surge figures in the table: read both on the air conditioner's label or in its manual, and test it before you rely on it. For the hours, multiply the rated Wh by 0.85 for inverter losses and divide by the running watts. A unit whose label says 500 W, for example, would run about 3.5 hours on the AC200L and about 4.7 hours on the Apex 300 on a full charge, if its compressor ran without a break.
